My name is Josie Belmont, I am the owner and groomer of Strictly Paws Pet Grooming. I have been grooming since 2009. Before that I was an active 4-H member always working and helping the dog programs. I competed as a youth in obedience and showmanship for years and even returned years later as a judge. I attended the Academy of Dog and Cat grooming Arts in Arlington Heights and graduated with my grooming certification from the school in 2001. I have traveled all over for grooming competitions most of my grooming career. I always try to attend shows, compete, learn or train as often as I can. Learning is a huge part of this industry and we can always get better, grow and strive to make the animals and clients happy. I love my job, and my clients like they are all my friends and family. This truly is my passion. I have had a dream of owning my own salon for so long, I have finally stepped up and started my dream. I have worked as a manager of a corporate salon and help manage and run things at my last location Gone to the Dogs.
